Delmas shotokan Karate was established in 1999 by Vincent Mxolisi Gumede.He holds a Black Belt that was achieved in 2014 and he has been trained by the best Shinan Master Micheal Cindi who holds 6 Dan Black Belts.His passion for Karate made him to open his first DOJO schools in Delmas in  (Mpumalanga in South Africa).

Shotokan Karate is a composite system that encompasses Kobutsuji. We are following the Gehin Funakoshi ways. 
Sensei Mxo
Started his Karate Training in 1994 with Japan Karate Association trained by Sensei Modupi Mohadiba. In 1998 he did a Sasol Funa Koshi by Sensei Sam and he hot his first KYU Brown Belt Under Sam.

 African Warriors of Shotokan Karate Dojo

As a young club, established in 2017 with less then 20 karatekas, we are thrilled to be affiliated to DSKA. The goal, in teaching children karate is not only to give them the physical skills to defend themselves, but also the mental skills and growth.
We include meditation classes as well as developing vision boards for each athlete. Part of our training also includes team and camaraderie building exercises, such as away from Dojo Gasshukus.

We appreciate being part of DSKA, we have gained priceless knowledge and experiences from all the Sensei and Sempai.
