Simpai-Brian Malie Mpila was born in 1985 27 September at brakfonteih farm situated in Delmas.He started training with Japan Karate association.(J.k.A.) At the age of ten (10) years in 1995 under Simpa1 freeman and later in 1998 continues his training under Simpai Vincent Mxolisi Gumede. Doi ng also Japan karate Association (J.K.B.).In 1999 He trained with Sensei Samfani doing Funakoshi Karate Club (F.K.C.). In 2002 he continues to training with Sensei Casper&Joseph Mthimunye under Shihan Ibrahim Abdullah in international Kunibakai karate Organisation (I.K.K.O.). In 2005 he trained with Shihan Stevenies Emmities Abdull in all style Karate Association (Shitoryu). In 2008 he goes back and trained with Shotokan Karate Club under Shihan Michael Vusimuzi Cindi. In 2010 He persue his training with Gojuryu Karate- Do-Kuyukai under Shihan Humphrey Skosana. In 2010 He was elected to be instructor of the year in the local awards ceremony held in Delmas .In 1995 won silver medal For Indi Vidual Kumite at the all Japan Karate Championship. In 1997 won gold medals for individual kata & silver medal for Kumite at the tournament in Brakpan. In 2003 won individual Kumite Certificate In Mpumalanga Karate Association (M.K.A) at Witbank trials tournament. In 2006 won silver medals individual Kata & Kumite, in team Kata&Team Kumite won 2 small trophies in (i.k.k.0 national trial) in Johannesburg. In 2007 won gold medal individuals kata& silver medal individuals Kumite and silver medal In self -defence at Embalenhle Sasol Sport Weekend Champions. In 2008 won 2 gold medals 40m&100m in marathon in sports against crime campaing delmas. And silver medals in kelloggs straders team relay mini marathon at Pienner Campaign. In 2009 won 2 silver medals individuals Kata&Kumite in the local tournament at ext 3 community hall in Delmas and bronze medal in self defence in team Kata & kumite won bronze medal. In 2008 won a trophic individual kata & kumite. In 2009 won bronze medal individual kata in all style karate championship at Orange Groove in Johannesburg. In 2010 won individual Kata silver medal in Koshiki Karate -do-tournament in Hillbrow at Johannesburg. In 2011 won victor khanye local municipality gold medals individuals in kata&kumite in youth games Campaign at F.C Dumat Community hall in Delmas.
